The directions for the set-up, administration, and scoring of the Disposable form of the LACLS-5 are now included in the newly updated 2nd Edition of the Manual for the three forms of Version 5 of the ACL Screen. This disposable form is designed for persons who require infection control and should be discarded after use with one person. As we confirmed in a previous post, the LACLS[D] may be administered without or with needles which are sold separately. If needles are re-used, they should be sanitized following the established protocols of the facility.
